The
Village of Long Grove wishes to notify you that the Robert Parker Coffin Bridge
Approach Improvement Project is scheduled to begin the first or second week of
September 2008. The proposed construction will consist of the full depth
removal of existing approach pavements, fence removal, sidewalk
removal/salvation, installation of vehicular/sidewalk paver bricks, fencing,
HMA patching and minor bridge steel structure adjustment. As part of the
proposed construction, the
EARLIEST ALLOWABLE BRIDGE/ROAD CLOSURE:
Approximately 7:00 a.m., September 1st, 2008
PROJECTED BRIDGE/ROAD CLOSURE:
Approximately 7:00 a.m., September 8th, 2008
BRIDGE/ROAD OPENING:
Approximately 11:59 p.m., September 30th, 2008

contractor is tentatively scheduled to begin work on Monday, September 8th and will be completed with all work at the latest by September 30th. Further information about the contractor’s schedule will be
